Is there any gameplay? Or am I meant to just keep walking forward and admire all the Dreamiverse assets you've stamped in?

It's an intriguing world but i'm not sure of the gameplay exactly? On my first play I reached the city area but died as I got close to the... moon? Then in the second I aimed for high ground but invisible barriers stopped me. Did see some floating trees
