Cute character! I died near the end, and the swarm was suddenly in front of me. Maybe it could be reset behind the player? Jumping also feels a bit inconsistent.

Cool stuff. I see the Crash inspiration. A scoreboard would be great but you already know that, and I'm not the one to help =)
