Very cool dude.

I've got an idea for this. 2 actually. 1 a black box(no reflection) behind the gate. 3 ideas! #2 cut the ship into 4-6 sections make invisible untill one part goes through then the others. 3 static camera untill the end and then delete camera for freeview

Its weird, but I thought I remember some 70s movie with something like this in it. Only it was a plane.
