The tools are pretty solid, but time and practice are still not cut out ;) I'd say you'll be catching up pretty good. For the instruments, you could ask the prolific music makers and samplers on the Dreamverse. They're nice guys!

You start strong, keep it up! Also, Morricone is a wizard! I adore how distinctive the melodies of his themes are. I would even think that more people recognize them without knowing. Apart from that, love both movie and OST.
