Does the saphire and emerald skins have any context or are they just skins

Fun fact: Tao's pronouns are they/them, that's because there are two beings controling some parts.
The primary one being the head and the other being the torso, the head helps take care of the torso while the torso helps with protection.

I think i'd just let Karotos and this fella become homies after they fought. Karotos would just see a missundestood and manipulated beast. So Karotos would probably even train his combat skills
