    They remind me also of earlier versions of D&D Kobolds. After the original which were doglike, and before modern little lizardmen, there were semi-goblinlike ones with ratlike leathery/scaled heads and tails and 2 little nub horns.

    Cute. Reminds me of a smaller version of first edition D&D pigfaced orcs, which makes sense because goblins are smaller relatives of orcs. Also reminds me of the Nerbils from Tak and the Power of Juju.
