Do you use the move controllers to paint strokes?

Nice tutorial! Personally I prefer to just sculpt hair for my characters because it fits the style more, but it looks really good on yours. :)

I like this but you might want to organize it better in a straight line. Also explain the tabs you are talking about (Physics Clones) I knew what you where talking about but if it is going to be a tutorial, tell people.
