All we need now is Dax Generations, a celebration of the Dax the Dog series in which we play as both Modern Dax and Classic Dax, each with their own gameplay style, and it will be the last good Dax game for 6 years until Dax Mania comes out.

Very good game, although is it just me or is the watermelon enemy right after the cloud part kind of hard to kill? His fire rate seems super fast.

That was really nice! The very clean art style stands out - the game looks like we would like to remember the PS1 and N64 games from back in the day. Maybe a slightly more zoomed-out camera view would make for a smoother playing experience, though.
