Good news regarding LBP and it's future

Could you explain how mods are a good thing? And will it be possible to play the other LBP's using mods?

Well the servers are up, for one game and for one game only :(

Anyone can use mods if they want to. I just hope the mods are only active for the client.
I'd hate going into a level and seeing modded content. Because that can potentially break someone's game/save. Modded costumes being collected and breaking a save...

So stop saying that this'll lower the players' urge to create stuff from scratch. That's a really dumb conspiracy in my opinion. If you want to stay away from mods then don't use any! It's that easy, you guys don't have to bug me. I don't even make mods.

Mods can expand LBP's incomplete toolset. LBP lacked too many basic and important creation functions that the game should've had by default, mods can easily fix this problem. Mods only add creation resources, not pre-made creations.

Winatronz and everyone else that is confused about mods, they aim for adding new content to create stuff with, not replacing created content. Do you understand this concept now? I repeat, they are merely just new assets and tools to create with.

I repeat, you don't have to use mods if you don't want to. It's your free will, stop bugging me saying that mods will replace creativity and whatnot. If you think they do, don't use them and keep your opinion to yourself. This only aims to add content.

LittleBigPlanet on its own was/is good enough. I just don't understand the obsession and hype over mods. In my opinion it'll just change the community in a way where it won't really be the same anymore.

Just so i make things clear, mods are only optional. Also, i have good news! StevenI said yesterday that the servers will return soon.

I just wanna play the community levels with PS subscriptions. Im not into the multiplayer as much.

I love using mods on games like Fallout, but for LBP... Mods can be anything but safe and make people's game crash. Personal mods that only affect you seem fine to me.

I Think It's Going To Be A Remake Of Little BIG Planet 1, 2, 3, PSP, And PSVITA And It Wud Also Have Stuff From Little BIG Planet Karting As Well... So That Means It Will Have Everything From All LBP Games! And Maybe It Will Also An App To Download! =)

Also, if other old game franchises like Half-Life (which was released in the 90s) are still alive to this day, why can't LBP do the same? I really care about LBP. I admit, i used to think that LBP was going downhill but i realized that i was exaggerating.

I wanna make a few things clear: Mods weren't the reason why the servers shut down, it was server scripts. Mods will never be that powerful, besides, mods don't run on the servers. Sumo tolerates mods, it's no secret that mods will change LBP forever.
