Great start. Keep going.
One issue is that when you die, the enemies swarm the respawn point, making revival impossible.
An idea; Seeing as the missed shots collect on the floor, maybe get the player to pick them up... Or utilize them in some other way

Great work so far!
The air vortexes are a terrific gameplay element -- they fit the theme and establish a creative, unique challenge for the player to overcome.
I can't wait to see what you add to this! 👍
