Ghost Racer (Development Build) V 4.1 (archived)

Just finished and won a 100 lap race around Track 5, Route A. Basically, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway: Outer Oval.

Only 15 laps for the World Racing Championship? I had expected something like 30+ laps. Still, I really enjoyed Ghost Racer, and I hope there's more to come. Thumbs Up

Ghost Racer Campaign 100%!! All races won, all time trials gold, all survivals finished, all cars and colours unlocked... Yes!!

1 suggestion: Wouldn't the AI have health bars (damage) like the player does?

Does the Campaign have separate playthroughs for each difficulty?

One more thing. Before THAT glitch happened, I had only JUST managed bronze on Trial S. Then I went to do the "World Racing Championship" race, but when I tried to select it, (I pressed X several times) it wasn't working.

You don't even see your car. Only the imp. I had no choice but to reset ALL my progress to get out of this glitch... I'm on hiatus from this game until it's out of it's beta phase. Sorry...

Just noticed a glitch with a race AND time trial being on at the same time, and I can't quit the event. Got a photo on my profile as proof.

Honestly, depending on the camera view you select, those lights can blind you, putting players off.

I did NOT expect the lights to be THAT bright! Do you have to gold Trial S to play the World Racing Championship race?! >:O I can barely do bronze, even when reversing to start a lap at full speed...

Also the "X Car Prototype" car really reminds me of the Red Bull X cars from the Gran Turismo series! Also, whenever I finish a race or fail, or get a medal in a time trial, I can't help but start humming the respective Gran Turismo 3 tunes for these...

I... think the target times for Trial S need adjustment. In fact, I can't even reach bronze, let alone GOLD. How can ANYONE get used to the Prototype car THAT quickly? :O 2: That unique car used in the Survival events, can that car ONLY be used there?

When I finished the race after Lap 12, I obviously thought I was 6th (last), but the game told me I won! Weird...
(That was the Superstar Championship race btw)

A rather weird race: It went normal until Lap 6 when the Blue AI Gravis Race Car was going the wrong way, he eventually crashed out of the race, when I did my 1 and only pit stop on Lap 11, the other AI cars did the same, then went the wrong way!

Golded all events so far, but the Superstar Championship race?! Rank C car against Rank A race cars? That's hardly fair, is it? :O

Just updated the game to where you can revisit events you haven't got gold on.

How do you now score to complete Survival events?

I think the AI difficulty needs to be decreased for Race 4 of the Superstar League.

Might have to think of adding a "Respawn" feature, in case you land upside down after a hill. Maybe smooth out the hills so you can go a little faster on them. 48.40 for gold on Trial C-3? Not sure if that's possible because of the hills as you climb...

2 suggestions: 1: Have a finish screen with race results. 2: Add a position indicator for the player.

(Seems that you have to press the X button several times before it responds.)

2 more issues: 1: At the end of the Hot Shot Championship race, I clearly won with an "overcut pit stop, but there was a stray AI car going the wrong way on the final lap, and I was classified 2nd. 2: The controls are not that responsive in the menu.

The AI in the Hot Shot Championship race seems impossible to keep up with. And the car you're locked to isn't that great handling wise.

There should be a HUD display showing how many laps the race has.

...Grass Roots League, which I can't do at the moment, because of the earlier reason that I mentioned.

3: I golded all but one of the Grass Roots events, (the one I missed was Silver, because of that, it softlocked me unable to play the Grass Roots Championship. And I completed the first few challenges, the others are locked behind completing the...
