    Does anyone know how to find the red orb to open the broken doorway? I found the map and the pickaxe, but do not know how to proceed.

    High difficulty.

    Really intriguing. Managed to get the 2 endings and enjoyed both. I actually played this about 4 times and I have 2 questions without spoilers; what does the plaque mean and is there a way to open the broken doorway?

    DEAR PLAYERS!
    The game has an immersive sim elements. Feel free to experiment with it.
    Story mode has two endings and two ways to achieve the good one.
    You can even beat the game in 2.5 minutes without fighting monsters.
