The checkpoints are very strong as they are. It could be a nice alternative to have healing pickups or interactions elsewhere. A good balance could have the checkpoints heal to 50% if you wanted to retain checkpoint healing.

I think you should add a new game plus mode for this game it be cool play the full game with all the powers after beating it

This would benefit a lot from a subtitle option, because some of the voices can be hard to understand, particularly in cutscenes. It will also make the Dream more accessible.
