Really cool idea, I'd love to see it expanded into something bigger.

Looks really nice. I just love this style. From the description it doesn't sound like you had a fun time making it, and yeah I get how making lots of 2D drawings can be tedious. If you do continue I'd ditch Yoshi so all your hard won't get taken down.
