    I like this game but it would be nice to have checkpoints so I wouldn't have to start the level over again. If that was your intention, I'm probably just bad at it.

    Clunky movement controls and aiming. They both should be joystick controlled. I'd suggest finding a "Joystick Rotator" for aiming.
