    To help with the backtracking problem, you could add a travel feature between alters. It would allow you to add some new challenges to the earlier levels and give them more purpose, they would be easily accesed via altar.

    Dodge distance feels very short. I assume there is some i-frames in there as well but I haven't tested it fully. I think just tweaking the visual distance covered would make it feel a lot better. Without affecting the i-frames.

    Stamina feels a bit discarded outside of combat. You could add a sprint command that adds a small % of movement speed so it doesn't ruin the flow (about +10% faster). It would give stamina a new application that is applicable in and out of combat.

    The backtracking is probably the weakest aspect of this. I see barricades and walls that block certain pathways. Those exact sections would be perfect to place one-sided ramped barricades/stairs, or even platforms to jump on and over.
