I´m finding this addictive , and keep coming back to it. Keep up the great work . One thing I'd say is to make some secret paths to get more health, using the vines.

my very only take is the very short hit box of your weapon, don't know if it was intended or a bug.

That was fun! I adored the little animations sprinkled throughout the level. Like the skeleton waving from the checkpoints. Those details really bring the game to life. So yeah, beautiful 2D platformer with solid controls. Looking forward to more levels
