Sorry for the wait. With my current fighting game knowledge & limited boxing game knowledge, here's a few things to help improve the fighting.
1. Add a Combo System. Add a 3 hit Combo System for jabs & body blows. Cooldowns should be there at the end.

I don't know if you've thought up backstories for other characters than Sally and Gio, but if you have, some character profiles would be nice. Also, if possible, I'd strongly recommend looking for actual people to replace computer voices.
