i just realised many harp parts have actual basslines, d'oh.

i just realised that i sucked at extending a track without making it sound like a totally disparate track, but i've improved at that because over time you identify and correct your own weaknessed without hopefully being insecure about them.

plan on making country and folk tracks in Dreams but in the meantime doing a hard trance/dark ambient track in Dreams.

don't have much time to dreamsurf because i'm learning early-intermediate pieces on piano and early-advanced riffs/licks on guitar.

for a while i thought i wasn't skilled at making music but i am, maybe i'm low level advanced but i got enough skill to write any type of pop tune or beat.

from now on i'm putting more effort for even the simplest of tunes but lately i'm experimenting with more intricate tunes, hopefully eventually doing some real sophisticated stuff.

Yo, are you down for making some music for me and my friends zombie project? Heavy metal, jingles and other types.

i feel like this month i'll make guitar exercises in Dreams using modes of harmonic/melodic minor scales so that i end up composing with them.

i could remake the entirety of "JOHN COLTRANE - mr P.C" it'd be harder than "MESHUGGAH - demiurge" what with the busy minimal arrangement and tempo changes and making the production feel authentic but i can hear the scale changes and rhythmic nuances.

there are 5 levels to a skill, beginner, intermediate, advanced, expert, virtuoso. i'm an intermediate comp/guit but for the stuff i want to do i'm aiming for advanced so i'll try many different styles of music, next year i might learn more powermetal.
