SDT's latest involves an excessive, but short Game Over scene. It's 1000 pounds of effort for a quarter ounce of content, but its detail is crucial to the game's lore and cements my confidence for future game ideas after Super Dirt Trucks is done.

A.I. problems for 3 new tracks with overpass & crosses are 110% fixed! A.I. braking improved & other bugs fixed. Testing with locals met goal of challenging, yet fun difficulty. A.I. advances to tweaking stage rather than problem solving & bug fixing.

A meeting with local devs shows I need U.I. graphics for the trick pickup and player position. I've added them plus a HUD for fuel, tires, engine, and 12 stats that are affected by buffs bought in the shop. Now working on A.I. race lines for new tracks.

Super Dirt Trucks adds 3 new exciting tracks with tight turns, hazards, and huge crossover ramps. The difficulty tightens the arcade to simulation gap, encouraging realistic use of the throttle, brakes and handbrake to handle the truck like a pro.

Made new repair shop intended for my upcoming trailer. It has working 2 post lifts for the trucks, a joystick controlled bridge crane and much more. Each truck has its own station with tools and accessories. This will become the truck select screen.

Fun organ interludes have been added to bolster commentary/race actions like organists do in pro hockey/baseball to pump the crowd. Also, major work on trailer song with four vocal harmonies in bluegrass country style. May equal my best work in the game.

A breakthrough this week in color commentary for the game. The voice clips sound decent enough to use and there are endless possibilities. Plenty of grinding ahead to set it all up proper, but it fits in the game's atmosphere as well as I had hoped.

Major milestone reached with trick recognition, sound, points, and score displays for human or A.I. as well as being able to do them with all conflicts and redundancy quashed along with other significant additions.

Big milestone: Modeling for all droid drivers is finally complete and they fit the graphics budget! This means each of the 12 trucks will have a unique model. Next will be posing them in the trucks rigging the steering and optimizing their detail further.
