It's not just 1980's dark fantasy movies, they turned the original Star Wars trilogy and Peter Jackson Middle-Earth films into 1980's to 1990's style anime like Studio Ghibli's "Spirited Away" and the old "Ghost in the Shell" anime! It's great nostalgia!

-or Mad Max films? The pictures look like the lighting, makeup and prosthetics, and camera quality of movies from back then like Terminator, Jaws, Alien, etc. It's awesome! Someone turned World of Warcraft into a movie resembling the old D&D one!
