It took me some time to pinpoint what behaviour I was observing here.

My first observation was that the orchestral bass drum track wasn't playing in the hover preview of a music clip. Was the behaviour "orchestral bass drum doesn't play in music clip hover previews"? No, an experiment where I created a music clip with only an orchestral bass drum track disproved that - the orchestral bass drum track played as expected in the hover preview.

Was it "only first stamped instrument plays in music clip hover previews"? No, an experiment where I created a music clip with multiple instruments disproved that - all instruments played as expected in the hover preview.

It wasn't until I edited that music clip with multiple isntruments and deleted an instrument that I discovered what was really going on. The deleted instrument still played in the hover preview, which led to the conclusion: the hover preview of a music clip is "write once". Once you've saved and exited the element, that's it - no do overs for what the hover preview sounds like.

Is there a workaround for this?
