My eyes aren't what they used to be... probably too much Dreams XD
But when there's bloom on everything (eg. in the menus) it just looks more like blur to me. It strains my eyes, and makes it hard to focus on the text or icons.
Also the constant boken in the background can be quite distracting for me. I imagine for some people it could be quite obtrusive and make it difficult to just use the menu with all that going on in the background.
The accessibility feature to turn the visual noise down/off.
There's already a setting for turning off "UI Effects." But it doesn't seem to turn off the bloom and bokeh. Honestly, I really can't tell what turning that off even does. But whatever... if these other things could be added to that setting that's great.
Or have a separate one for "visual noise" for more flexibility. Like, a motion setting, and a noise setting, or whatever.
