That doesn't happen for any gadget and any situation apart from a camera in a timeline.

I've never really figured out why you'd ever *want* those gizmos to show to be honest. And why it wouldn't be possible or easy to simply select/tweak the camera you want to see the gizmo of, the same way we do for everything else. It *has* however caused a whole load of problems seeing what you're working on, and a number of awkward workarounds just to be able to see what's happening and work on your animation.

There's even an update in the works which hide cameras separate to other electronics. Which, that's all great. But also I'm betting that wouldn't have even been a thing people wanted or thought about if this just worked consistently for cameras in timelines.

So making this consistent would cut out all those workarounds, (may) not harm the workflow of (most) creators, would mean less caveats to learn about when picking up Dreams, and people wouldn't need to know about that "hide cameras/lighting" setting in the menu to be able to work on their animations perfectly fine.
