Right now, to hide the dream map, we need to hide all the scenes/dreams in that dream map. Which also means if you rewind you'll go back to the first scene of the dream instead of just rewinding. And when you resume, you'll also start from the first scene (I think?)
When a creator just wants to hide the dream map so the player can't move around scenes freely, that's a lot of work, and has those side effects the creator doesn't necessarily want. A simple setting to hide the dream map button from the player is all that's needed really, and then those side effects don't have to be forced on them.
