In lbp3 there was a microchip that would apply to anything with a matching tag, a similar thing could be added to dreams and i think it would be very good for reducing thermo in scene.
As an example you could make a puppet AI by putting 3 tags in it - patrol, attack, search - and then have 3 broadcast microchip in the scene which do the tasks you need but would only be applied to the puppet when that tags enabled, so if you want to make it attack then you would enable the attack tag and the chip would be temporarily placed in the puppet until its powered off.
Basically instead of having loads of logic that isnt being used and taking up gameplay thermo you could just have the logic copy and paste when needed and delete when not needed
