Item being reported:

Many times while holding a wire I realize I do not have the gadget that I need and grab one from the menu. It would be great if i didn't have to grab that wire again and it automatically went to the input of the gadget grabbed from the menu.

I realize gadgets have multiple inputs. If it defaulted to power which all gadgets have then at least it is there for creators to grab quickly and move.
