This would be a great idea when hooking stuff involving fatwire information instead of having to manually open tweak menus and do it yourself. The splitter would need some things added to it to make it work properly.

Splitter Mode Type: By default, when plugging from a fatwire output port, the splitter automatically adjusts according to what type of fatwire it is, whether it be RGB, Music, etc. The splitter would have a new type of mode added to it: Playhead Receiver Mode. This would allow to manually adjust what to recieve from the timeline and get what the playhead was hovering over at that current time(Think transform data or Color for example). This would be handy with alot of note gadgets throughout the timeline or you want to receive from nodes from microchips on timelines aswell.

Track Number: Would allow you to select what part of the timeline to receive from on a vertical axis within the timeline. Adjustable setting on the splitter gadget.

Thought I'd share with you and what you think about this. This would eliminate the tedius process of opening tweak menus over and over again to get to the port options. The playhead would automatically do it for you with some adjustments to the splitter gadget and a Playhead Info port on the timeline gadgets.
