We need the ability to use the corner editor & slice N Dice function that was in LBP on our paintings in Dreams. Here is how it would work. First player clicks on Painting to highlight it then to the right of the screen an option would appear that says corner editor/slice N Dice. Once player clicks on this option they can then switch it's functionality between corner editor & slice N Dice by pressing triangle. While this mode is turned on all the player has to do is hover over painting & a highlighted grid will appear over painting even if painting is curved the grid that appears will naturally bend over the contours. Now if the player has it set to slice and dice then all the player does is hold down R2 and then start to trace a holographic line to the point they want to cut to, then they just release R2 & wallah that area of the painting will literally be cut from the rest. If the player cuts a line that would sever that part of the painting from the whole of the painting, that severed piece will still remain as part of the painting unless player deletes it manually. If player has it set to corner editor then when they hold R2 over painting it will grab onto wherever your pointing and then you can pull that part in any direction to distort paintings shape. Imagine you just placed down 1 beautiful new square fleck and decided to use it for a window but you want the glass of the window to be really uniquely shaped, so you click on that one fleck to highlight it then you select corner editor option on right of screen then you just hover over top edge of painting grab it & start shaping that fleck to what ever weird shape you want the window to be and wallah. :)
