When running a challenge or making a themed collection collaboration is difficult to manage. It would be great if we could create drop boxes - a type of playlist/collection that is open to the community so they can drop creations into it. You could also have Private Drop boxes for collaboration projects.
For example
You run a weekly animation challenge. At the moment people use tags to mark up their creations or they send them as links to the host of the challenge. With a drop box they just post them to the challenge Drop box and the host can access them from there - all in one place, no chance of missing them in your notifications, no chance of people tagging up their creations wrong so you miss them.
Example 2
You are auditioning people for a game project. You create a Drop Box so people can put their audition piece in it for the project manager to see.
Example 3
You want to make a collection of the best ever thingamebobs. Open up a Drop Box and ask the community to help you find the best thingamebobs and post them there. You can then vet these to make your collection.
Example 4
Game collaboration. Create a Private Drop Box for your team so they can drop completed assets, scenes into it. Only your team members have access.
