As someone who uses Switches and Value Sliders to create custom tweak menus for their contraptions, a quality-of-life feature I'd like to see added is the ability to change the icon that appears on the top left corner of those gadgets, which would help to give end users a slightly better idea of how certain switches affect a creation. You can kinda already do that by using icon shorthands in the gadget's name, but you're still left with the default icons taking up space that might end up truncating the rest of its name.
One way to implement it would be to use a similar system to what's already present on the Microchip; you're given a selection of icons, and clicking on one of them changes which icon appears on the gadget's header. Alternatively, if the user gives their Switch / Value Slider a name and it begins with an icon's shorthand, e.g. <uiimp>, the gadget would use that icon instead of the default light switch / slider icons.
I've included a quick mockup below to help illustrate what this could end up looking like in-game.
