Many DAWs have the option to “fold” the piano roll, hiding all notes not being used or all notes out of the chosen scale. This would be a great asset to dreamers, not only as an aid for those with basic music theory to stay in harmony, but to free up screen real estate and simplify a busy screen when composing.
