A keyframe set is made when there are multiple keyframes adjacent to each other on the same row of a timeline. Often times, all keyframes affect the same settings of the same objects. For example "this row animates the arms"--and then all keyframes on that row affect the position of the arms.

Right now, each of those keyframes requires a new wire to the same setting. So if we have many keyframes, we have many wires too. But as the engine knows what settings all of those keyframes affect, it could auto-optimise those wires away, using just a single wire per setting, and having each keyframe go through that single wire.

This shouldn't affect other functionality of keyframes, to my understanding. It should all work the same way but use the same wire to reference the same setting for any keyframe on that row.
