Right now, positive and negative shapes show wireframes while hovering over a surface affected by them, allowing us to move or delete them. It can be difficult or impossible to highlight positive shapes if their surface is affected by a negative.

It is currently impossible to adjust neutral shapes in this way (eg. spraypaint). I guess would be pretty hectic if those neutral shapes also showed up, so perhaps that is why it doesn't work for those.

If we could find only the shapes from the current tool, it would make it easier to adjust the kinds of shapes we want even if other edit types affect the same surface. And would make it user-friendly to adjust edits of those neutral types also.

For example, while using the spraypaint tool, hold L1 to go into a temporary "move" mode but only for spraypaint edits. (Or perhaps toggle. Or have a context menu toggle button. Whatever...) Then we can hover over the surface of the sculpt and delete spraypaint edits, or move them around, etc. just as easily as we can currently do for positive and negative edits. Easier even, because only spraypaint edits would show up.

And this would work the same for all other sculpting tools.
