When recording of a Keyframe ends, what happens to the animated things usually depends on whether ending the recording leaves the Keyframe powered off or powered on. If the Keyframe is left powered off, animated things are reverted to their original positions, and if the Keyframe is left powered on, animated things remain at their animated positions.
But the rules are different for gizmos. When a gizmo is animated during a Keyframe record, it's always left at its animated position when recording ends, regardless of whether the Keyframe is left powered off or powered on.
This is a problem, because that behaviour is exactly what you would see if gizmos weren't animatable - when you dragged that gizmo to a new position during a Keyframe record, you didn't get an "animate", you just got a plain old "move".
If a creator is trying to solve a problem for which animating a gizmo would be the best solution, they might instead choose a more complicated solution, because they've observed the behaviour of animated gizmos at the end of a Keyframe record and mistaken it for gizmos not being animatable.
Animated gizmos should use the same rule as everything else - revert if Keyframe is left powered off, remain if Keyframe is left powered on.
