It would be a great gadget addition to have the ability to pause all animations and physics in the scene for pulling up inventories without having enemies attack you while you did it. Also great for freeze framing during cut scenes to put in witty clips or add things like kapow and zap text. Also great for 3d artists who can pose characters in mid air . Project Spark had this functionality and it was used a lot in many inventive ways.
