Right now it is very difficult to make a custom pause screen as there is no easy way to pause a scene.
It is hopefully doable as this feature is already implemented in edit mode. And maybe it would even be possible to slow the scene down by choosing a percentage. Like a slider where halfway would be running the scene at 50% speed.
An option could be to add an input to the global settings gadget, where you could insert a wire to control when to pause time. Another option is to make new time-gadgets, where you would have a master gadget to control the time, and have other time gadgets inside each object you want to be affected by the master gadget (just like the wireless gadgets).
This would also be useful for many other things like looking in inventory, quick time events etc.
