For some controls, there are good reasons for the Controller Sensor not to provide outputs for them - PS button and Share are reserved for the PlayStation OS, and Options is used by Dreams for recentering the imp and by the OS for recentering the VR view.

But what about the touchpad?

At present, the only touchpad function for which the Controller Sensor provides an output is the button. It would be nice if there were a "sticks" fat wire output for the touch position. A swipe vector output would also be a nice convenience - but given a touch position output, you could get the swipe vector using a calculator and two wires.
