I'm not talking about looping or anything. There are times when I want to copy a phrase from one instrument to another.
Or maybe I've made a load of tweaks to how an instrument sounds on one clip, but the others are still bog-standard. It would save a lot of time if I could clone the tweaked clip and just copy the old notes across... rather than inputting all the notes by hand again. And that would be even more frustrating if you'd done a kick-ass performance, too.
