I know I'm stuck in the old ways of doing things, a la LBP, but I have to go with what I know for now. To the question. I have a set of elevator doors. I want the player to enter a zone and the doors to open, and stay opened until the player enters the elevator. What is the SIMPLEST way to do this? Currently I have pistons on the doors.

I tried the keyframe animation....WAIT! I just got a thought. On a timeline, do I put a keyframe animation of the doors opening when the player enters zone? Then when player enters elevator zone have another keyframe of doors closing? Then have that timeline trigger the elevator rising?
