I recently posted about a sculpt of mine being way too hot. It's a lost cause, I'll have to re-sculpt.
So I pulled it apart and Isolated just one piece. I sculpted a new one overtop that had a fraction of the thermo and saved it as a new object.
My problem is that the new object now has the entire history of the previous sculpt, despite the fact that I'm not using any of it. Is there any way to sever it from it's history. I'd, eventually, like to just delete the old sculpt.
In lieu of that, is there a way to do what I did without carrying over the history?
