I've just been playing around with bolts to see how they are affected by stuff and one thing surprised me. After connecting to bits together, I set the child to be non-moveable, thinking something would go wrong, but it was fine.

I was still able to use the joint, and the two still seemed to be connected with no problem.

So I'm just wondering what the logic is behind forcing child objects to become moveable when using joints?
