I want to rotate a sculpture by 22 degrees along the x-axis. This should be simple, but it's not; DS4 motion controls get in the way every time.

Precise Move is the only tool I know of which features a protractor. Locking its rotations along a single axis requires holding L2 to select the sculpture, then holding L1 to lock axis (moving an analog stick works, too).

However, the DS4's motion control rotates my sculpture along EVERY axis the instant I press L2. By the time I hold L1, the sculpture's a few degrees off-kilter and I don't have a good method to correct that. I'm at a loss.

Please tell me there's a really simple trick to make Precise Move manageable. Thanks for any advice.
