I have quite a complex character with custom animations, but as I developed it, I didn't use proper ways to wire things up, like gates, states machines etc, I mostly used keyframes like a noob.

So imagine I have like 15 different actions which I can do normally, but then I add moves that have limitations to other actions. Like swimming or hanging on ledges. What I used to do is add keyframe which disabled microchips with all actions I don't want to use during this state or action. It works most of the time if you do it right, but sometimes the overlapping is happening, like, I do a roll while I fall in water, and if it overlaps, after I go out of water I can't roll anymore until I reset. Like something breaks the link. It happened quite sometime and I can't figure out the best way to prevent it without using too advanced setups.

Thanks for any ideas and advices.
