I'm trying to create a ride vehicle that anyone can use. Ideally, another dreamer would just need to create a track for the vehicle to follow. Right now I've got something sort of working. I have one sculpture with a mover on it the slides along another sculpture (this is the thing another dreamer would create). That seems to work just fine.
I've then attached the ride vehicle to this device with a bolt. I've got a gyroscope on the vehicle to keep it upright. I've also attached the same mover to the vehicle. The whole thing works... Ok
Problems arise because the bolt isn't rigid. Rotating around the z axis (the up and down direction) had momentum problems. What am i missing? Is there a better way to go about this? Did someone already make something like this?
Ultimately I'm looking to recreate some rides from my childhood that no longer exist.
