HI,

I am having trouble with record possession.

I am using a large penguin as my playable character and I am trying to clone this character to make smaller penguins that I want to animate using the 'record possession' to just run around my scene.

The issue is that after recording and then de-possessing that character and going back into play mode, it will only lock onto the animated character and not the original character that I want to control in the game.

I have read your user guide about Record Possession and have got to this point:

'Find the controller sensor. Under possession mode, select none. This gives you a non-player character, as the player can't possess it.'

I have gone into the microchip/puppet logic/controller logic and have found the controller sensor. On the controller sensor I cannot find anything that says 'Possession mode' or anything that gives me the option of 'select none'.

Will this solve my problem or am I missing something basic? Any advice on this would be great.

Many thanks.
