You can trick an Emitter into emitting a single logic gadget:

Group the logic gadget that you want to emit with something else.
Make the Emitter emit that group.
Scope into the group - you need "preview invisible" turned off to do this.
Delete the object that you didn't want to emit - at this point, the group decays and the Emitter is left emitting the single logic gadget.

And if that single logic gadget is a sticker mode Text Displayer, it will be emitted into the root scope of the scene and should be able to project onto anything.
