+1 on most points here, though I think Mm probably won't implement many fixes just for pixel art.

1) The paint interface has a certain fuzziness with grid alignment -- every single paint fleck you stamp is a little bit imprecise, unless you take time to align the imp just right. What I do instead is stamp a single fleck, exit Paint Mode, and copy that painting everywhere. This way, Dreams can just use the origin point of one painting and keep things consistent, rather than making up wacky new origin points every time. It's an unnecessary pain in the butt, but it works.

2) It's impossible for the system to predict which flecks should be prioritized and blended, because different users will have wildly differing preferences on this. That said, a toggle for combining overlapped strokes would be very nice, though it would be tricky to implement and would have unintended effects all the time.

3) I find working without a canvas is much easier, as the grid/surface snap places flecks inside the canvas geometry more often than not. But this has to do with how shapes are stamped. In Sculpt Mode, depending on how your imp is aligned to the grid, any given shape's boundaries may be defined slightly before or after the grid points, rather than exactly on top of them. You can control this by twisting the imp in certain directions, but it takes quite a bit of practice and we shouldn't have to do it anyway.

For a strong example of this grid fuzziness, go into Sculpt Mode, select the Pyramid shape, and go into Shape Edit mode with Grid Snap on. Grab the Pyramid's corners and watch them bounce all over the place. Paint flecks do the same thing, they're just smaller so it's more difficult to notice.

4) Yep. I'd prefer a toggle to snap flecks onto a 2d plane. Snapping onto a line works great for stuff with variable fleck size, like rocket exhaust or spark effects.

5) That's a big ask. Mm probably won't do it.

6) Agree. Even a simple box select within Paint Mode would be a huge advancement.
