Also the size needs to be smaller than what is normally rendered, I believe--otherwise the left stick won't get locked up.
Note that this is not actually a bug, but there by design... they just didn't tell anybody. XD While the imp is over it, the left stick lets you scroll around the contents of the text box if the contents don't fit in the text box all at once. So it's sort of a feature... but not one that is useful most of the time, and no one knows about it, so no one uses the feature; they just get this buggy behaviour now and then and have no idea why.
