Yes indeed but what I means is that how else is something going to look like it is reflective without the light bouncing off? If you removed the reflection (illusion or real… doesn’t matter) then you would just have a flat surface.
It’s like saying I want a red cube but can we have a way to turn red off. Unless I am missing something? Have you got an example of what you mean?
